Whose oyster is the Eastern conference

While everyone were waiting for the Warriors to lose momentums and they keep their incredible season, it was assumed that the race in the east is already decided. Everyone? well, not the Toronto Raptors.

Head on with the Cavs, the Raptors have anounced: the East is still undecided. Yes, Toronto has gained a 2-1 lead over the Cavs yesterday, and there are no more games between those teams this year

you wonder - only 3 games between teams in one season ? how can it be ? as the National Basketball Association rivalries article on wikipedia tells: "Interdivisional rivalries comprise games between opponents in different divisions but within the same conference. A team plays against each team from the other two divisions in its conference either three or four times. "

This means that if these two teams tie at the end of the regular season, the Eastern conference is Toronto's.

That is the NBA for you. not a dull moment. And you should never assume certainties about the season (the same is right about Golden State, even though one cannot avoid the feeling Greg Popovich will have to draw one huge bunny out of his hat to prevent this season from becoming into a GS back-to-back championship).

But you know what I'll remember from this game ? Kyle Lowry's tough and confident winning shot, contrasted with the last shot of the game, an Air-Ball shot by Lebron James. I may be putting the wagon before the horses here, but I had a feeling that I was watching a transition.

Is it too soon to say that the king is dead, long live the king ?
